On a hill east of Montana State Prison there is a beautiful and pastoral view of Mount Powell and the prison. This is where our guys (the inmates) who pass away are laid to rest. The only marker showing a grave exists is a stone roughly half the size of a basketball at the head of each grave. There is no name of who rests there.
